The Webcaster3 is a self-contained, stand-alone system for live HD and SD video webcasting. All of the necessary hardware and software resources are included for creating high quality streams from all types of professional video sources. Featuring h.264/MP4 Adobe Flash® encoding. Optional MPEG2 TS and AAC codecs. The Webcaster3 can produce streams at bit rates from 100 kbps to 15 Mbps to deliver premium performance for all types of streaming applications.
Three main functions are performed by this unit: Video and Audio Capture/Compression, Broadcast Style Video Switching, and Live Streaming with Archiving.
•Capture/Compression transforms a wide variety of input signals into one of several different compressed signal formats which are compatible with player software commonly found on user PCs and other devices. Inputs can come from video cameras, tape decks, servers, production switchers and PCs.
Supported compression formats include Adobe Flash®, and international standard h.264/MPEG4.
•Broadcast Switcher with the world renowned vMix and VidBlaster applications. Allows for multiple cameras to be switched live with many features not found on other streaming video appliances.
•Switcher effects, Dissolves, Splits, Picture-in Picture, Chroma-key, Titling, Graphic Layering, Video Roll-ins, are just the start.
•Direct PowerPoint integration, allows your PPT(x) to go live! Any video or graphic file can be live streamed.
•Live Skype integration. Skype participants become live camera sources, with audio, and allow for on-air live interaction. The Webcast3 program stream can be fed back to the Skype, Adobe Connect or Nefsis conferencing users.
•Live Streaming and Archiving The Webaster3 streams the VidBlaster switcher output via public or private networks, and can be configured to work with many different reflecting servers and Content
Distribution Networks (CDNs) to allow live, large scale simultaneous viewing. Hi quality video recording of the program stream can be done on the Webcaster3, and used for VOD applications, post event.
